Jeremy Renner #07

Can I just talk about this photograph please? Not only is Jeremy Renner an unconventionally attractive male (seriously, look at him), but the lighting in this photo just emphasises it to the max. On the left side, the indirect light makes him look more youthful—the shadows caused by pores and wrinkles are practically eliminated, resulting in smoother-looking skin; the sleekness of his hair caused by the shine of the light; the reduction of the shadows under his eye, which is a combination of the reduced wrinkle and less contrast between his cheek and eye area; the straightness of his nose on the left side is even accentuated, even though it’s not straight; his facial hair even looks “younger”, since the light doesn’t show the few gray/white hairs. And then on the right side (our right, not his), it’s a complete contrast. Look at those wrinkles, those pores, the bulge in his nasal bone, and the fact you can barely see the details in his hair because of the shadows. You can also see the specks of gray/white in the facial hair. And just to top it all off and piss me off even more, his resting face doesn’t look as intense at it normally does. On the left side, it’s only slightly intense—there’s a bit more of a bland emotion behind it. But on the right side… He looks worried, even a bit sad. There’s a cold, empty feeling behind it. And his eyes are just downright gorgeous on both sides, so whatever. I hate Jeremy Renner so much*, and I hate this photographer even more. The longer I look at this picture, the more I see two different people melted together into one. (*I don’t actually hate him. He’s my favourite actor. There’s no way I could hate this man, except for maybe being too awesome.)

^this comment wins.

After a Tron movie marathon at Avengers Tower, Tony Stark decided to see if it’s actually possible to create a device that allows you to enter a computer.

As it turns out, it is. [x]
